Why was the export suspended?

Import and export of electrical energy are not currently being produced, noted the NEC.

The lack of exports from Ukraine is due to the need to cover Ukraine’s domestic needs for consumption throughout the day, as well as to provide reserves for the evening hours of maximum consumption.

The company urged Ukrainians to carefully and rationally consume electricity for the stable operation of the power system in the evening hours, namely from 19:00 to 22:00.

It is noted that the electricity produced now is enough to cover the needs of consumers.
