Ukraine will receive 17 million euros from international donors for housing loans for IDPs

In 2023, international donors will provide Ukraine with an additional grant in the amount of 17 million euros for the implementation of housing loans for HPV. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

Housing loans

During this period, more than 650 immigrants received a loan (at a rate of 3% per annum) for a total of 892.6 million hryvnias. This grant program is implemented by Gosmolodezh with the financing of the Government of Germany through the KfW Credit Institution.

According to Vereshchuk, in 2023, international donors will provide Ukraine with an additional grant of 17 million euros for the implementation of housing loans for HPV.

“This is one of the most effective programs for providing affordable housing for IDPs. I thank everyone involved for helping people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. In turn, we will promote the attraction of other international donors to the grant program. This will become a powerful platform for the integration of HPV in new communities!”, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
