Ukrzaliznytsia received permission to resume traffic on a section of the track in Khmelnytskyi, which was previously closed to passenger trains after Russian shelling on Saturday.

About this reported the press service of the company.

Railwaymen completed repair works on Sunday, however, UZ was waiting for permission to resume passenger traffic in the section damaged on Saturday.

All subsequent flights will follow their traditional routes, including via Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil. In order to insure the flights that are already on the way on the changed route, until the end of the day, additional electric trains for “reserve” transfers will continue to run according to the schedule.

Earlier it was reported that due to the closure of the section for transporting passengers from/to the section Vinnytsia – Khmelnytskyi – Ternopil, shuttle traffic by electric trains Khmelnytskyi – Vinnytsia – Kozyatyn 1, as well as Black Lake – Ternopil – Krasne was operating.

We remind you:

“Ukrzaliznytsia” due to shelling in Khmelnytskyi launched additional shuttle trains for transporting passengers and, together with OVA, developed instructions on changes in train schedules.
