What nuances should a volunteer take into account when helping an assault unit®

In this material, volunteer Vyacheslav Dobrota talks about the important moments in providing assistance to our defenders. One of the most dangerous parts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the amphibious assault troops, it is on their mighty shoulders that combat tasks to destroy the enemy’s defenses fall. There are a number of things that can not only change the course of hostilities, but also save the lives of soldiers. These include night vision devices, internal digital communication, quality shovels and cars. The presence of internal communication increases the coordination of any unit by approximately 2.5 times. The state is able to provide a platoon with four Motorola radios, and one platoon can be in 12 trenches within 300 meters. Therefore, in order to transmit information to each other, the fighters have to run between the trenches, which leads to an increase in losses. According to the system developed by veteran Viktor Hamulya (13th Battalion, 95th Brigade) based on his own experience, there should be 3 walkie-talkies per unit of 10 people – for the unit commander, grenade launcher and machine gunner. It is this distribution of means of communication that ensures cost minimization and firepower. Thus, the need to “report by voice” disappears, and all heavy weapons are directed by one team to attack the enemy’s key points. The question arises – why does it make sense in all units of the Armed Forces to balance walkie-talkies according to the act of receiving and handing over, and in particular, it cannot be done in infantry units. If a volunteer provides staff with property that is so necessary on the front line, then the soldier who uses it will be financially responsible for it. This is the reason for the difficult situation with providing infantry units with means of night vision, communication and vehicles. After all, the military is afraid to take on financial responsibility for things that can be easily lost during combat missions. Vyacheslav Dobrota, a volunteer with many years of experience, believes that especially expensive and important technical equipment should be handed over to the junior sergeants, because these are the people who were in the trenches yesterday and gained experience in real battles. Thus, by providing the above facilities directly to the soldiers, the interaction in the unit is improved and the number of casualties among our soldiers is reduced. There is currently an urgent need for night vision devices, communication equipment and pick-up trucks for the 82nd, 77th and 95th Infantry Brigades. All this can not only help the fighters bring our victory closer, but also save their lives. Please support: UAH 4149 6293 5742 0603 USD 4731 1856 0331 4904 Paypal: [email protected]
