Three 19-year-old boys who beat a fox to death will be tried in the Lviv region, and the video of the incident was posted online. This was reported by the police of the Lviv region. At the end of February, a video appeared in one of the Lviv Telegram channels showing unknown people beating a fox. As the law enforcement officers found out, they turned out to be three 19-year-old local residents of Chervonohrad district of Lviv region. Physical evidence was seized from the suspects, and the body of the animal was sent for examination. According to the fact, the police opened criminal proceedings. The sanction of the article on cruelty to animals provides from five to eight years in prison.
