During April, Ukrainians bought the largest number of used cars imported from abroad this year — 15.3 thousand, which is almost 8% more than a month earlier. This is reported by “Ukravtoprom”.

What Ukrainians chose
The largest share in this segment of the car market belongs to gasoline cars — 45%. This is followed by diesel cars — 36%, electric cars — 11%, cars with HBO — 5%, and “hybrids” — 3%.
The average age of used cars, which in April switched to Ukrainian license plates, is 11 years.
Renault Megane remains the most popular car. In April, 1,273 cars of this model were transferred to Ukrainian license plates. Volkswagen Golf took second place with 1,180 units, and Skoda Octavia took third place with 794 units.
Rounding out the top five are Volkswagen Passat and Ford Focus — 694 and 377 units, respectively.
Also in the top 10 in April were: Nissan Leaf — 366 units; Nissan Qashqai — 337 units; VW Touran — 320 units; Skoda Fabia — 277 units; Audi A4 — 270 units.
In total, since the beginning of the year, 54,500 people have received their first registration in Ukraine. of used passenger cars imported from abroad, which is 3.3 times more than sales of new cars for the same period.
