Raiffeisenbank not only does not intend to leave Russia, as it announced an hour ago, but also plans to develop business in the country, since December 2023 it has posted almost 2,500 job vacancies for its Russian division.
Of them, almost 1,500 announced relate directly to the search for sales managers and customer service specialists, reports the Financial Times.
The publication turned to the head office of Raiffeisen Bank International for a comment. They said that at the request of the head of the Austrian financial conglomerate, Johann Strobl, an investigation had already been conducted. It showed that the announcements about the search for employees were allegedly written taking into account the pre-war concept of the bank’s development, which was mistakenly not changed. In fact, Raiffeisen Bank International continues to try to sell the Russian division, which is reducing the number of personnel. Financial Times journalists claim that this is not true.
