“If we speak in dry numbers, the GDP fell by 10%, which equates to 15-20 billion dollars. And this is only currency revenue. If taxes are also taken into account, 100-150 billion hryvnias will be added. This amount is equivalent to the entire Ukrainian budget allocated for education,” says the expert, describing the economic situation due to the blockade of the port.
He also emphasized that the support of the grain agreement is the legalization of piracy on the part of the Russian Federation. This agreement gave control over Ukrainian exports and complicated imports, which became a difficult test for the economy.
