The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the downing of two UAVs over the Black Sea

The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported the destruction of two Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea on the morning of September 22. This is reported in the telegram channel of the department.

One of the drones was shot down on the southeastern coast of the annexed Crimea. The second was destroyed in Tuapse district. The port of this city is used for deliveries of raw materials abroad. It is reported that as a result of the second incident, there were no victims or injuries.

On September 21, flying drones were spotted in many areas of the annexed Crimea, in particular in the north, west, and center of the peninsula. The local Telegram channel “ChP/Sevastopol” wrote that residents of Novofeodorovka, Sak, Yevpatoria, Dzhankoy and Balaklava heard the explosions. The consequences of the attack were not reported. Later, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported on the destruction of 19 drones over the Black Sea and the territory of the annexed Crimea by means of air defense. Another drone was shot down in the Kursk, Belgorod and Oryol regions.

• Drone attacks are regularly carried out on the annexed Crimea against the backdrop of rocket attacks by the Russian army on Ukrainian cities. The Ministry of Defense of Russia considers the drones to be Ukrainian. The Ukrainian command does not comment on drone attacks on the territory of Russia.
