Instead of the “Concord” of the deceased Yevgeny Prigozhin, RBE Group will once again provide power to the structures of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. “Kommersant” writes about this with reference to a source close to RBE.

RBE was engaged in military nutrition until 2013, when these contracts were handed over to Concord Group. In the last hour of execution of the contracts, RBE earned $60 million on them, and the revenue made up more than half of the company’s total revenue.

The Kommersant interlocutor did not disclose the details and amount of the new contracts. The RBE did not comment on the topic, the Ministry of Defense of Russia and Concorde did not respond to the newspaper’s request.

Now RBE supplies food to more than a hundred large companies, including Transmashholding, UMMC, Mostotrest, and also manages restaurants on Sapsan trains, Kommersant writes.

According to the newspaper, in order to fulfill contracts with the Ministry of Defense, RBE started hiring employees and rented an office with an area of ​​4.5 thousand square meters in the center of Moscow. Experts interviewed by “Kommersant” believe that RBE may not have enough of its current production capacity, so the company will have to agree on the use of the already established infrastructure of “Concord”.
