“Gazprom” structures gave Alina Kabaeva a building for free, the cost of which is more than two billion rubles. This is stated in the investigation of the publication “We can explain”. The Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics, associated with Kabaeva, became the owner of the building. It should house a sports center and a hotel.

The modern building with an area of ​​more than 41,000 square meters is located in the federal territory of “Sirius” near Sochi. “Sirius” is a large educational project for gifted children and youth, its territory is autonomous from the Krasnodar Territory, it has a separate budget and property rights.

On the website of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Association “Heavenly Grace” by Alina Kabaeva, it is indicated that the Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics will train young gymnasts in the sports center located at this address, and hold international competitions and gatherings of junior athletes. There is also a hotel with 144 rooms with a swimming pool, a SPA area and a cinema.

The State Register of Legal Entities (EGRYUL) lists the types of activities that “Heavenly Grace” is engaged in. They include “activity of hotels, film production, physical and recreational activities, property management, organization of conferences and exhibitions, education for children”, as well as “activity of massage salons” and “activity in the field of medicine”.

At the same time, information about the company’s owners is hidden in EGRUL. However, her site is registered directly to the Alina Kabaeva Foundation.

According to Rosreester, the building at 7 Triumfalnaya St. previously belonged to the Gazprom Social Initiatives Support Fund. In January of this year, Gazprom gave a building for 2.2 billion rubles to the Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics for free. According to EGRUL data, this organization was created just three weeks before this property was transferred to it. The director of the academy is a Soviet gymnast, a pupil of the Leningrad school of rhythmic gymnastics and a two-time champion of the USSR Tatyana Kolesnikova (Sats).

The owners of the “Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics” from “Sirius” are hidden in the database of the Federal Tax Service, as well as the official owners of the “Heavenly Grace” association. According to the source of “We can explain” in one of the structures of “Gazprom”, the beneficiary of the deal is Kabaeva.
