Exchange rates on April 25: the hryvnia strengthened against the cash dollar

On Tuesday, April 25, the hryvnia to dollar rate strengthened on the “black market”, while the cash euro rate remained almost unchanged.
This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.
At 09:40, the dollar rate on the “black market” decreased for the second day in a row and amounted to UAH 37.80 – 37.96 – on Monday, April 24, the rate fluctuated between UAH 37.89 – 38.07.
Against the “black” exchange rate of the euro, the hryvnia has hardly changed. At the same time, it was UAH 41.33 – 41.67 against the rate of UAH 41.41 – 41.68 per euro on Monday. The exchange rate spread has narrowed, which means that it has become more expensive to sell the euro.
The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:
- US dollar – UAH 37.7 – UAH 38.2 (rate on April 24 – UAH 37.75 – UAH 38.25);
- Euro – 41.2 – 41.9 UAH (rate on April 24 – 41.2 – 41.8 UAH).
In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:
- Privatbank – UAH 37.4 – 37.9;
- Savings Bank – UAH 37.75 – UAH 38.9;
- Ukreximbank – UAH 37.65 – 38.15;
- Raiffeisen – 37.7 – 38.2 hryvnias.
As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
