The Center for Economic Strategy (CES) together with the German Economic Team (GET) invites you to join the review of the economy in July 2023 with the special topic of the month: “What should public funds be spent on during war (except for the army)”.
The event will take place August 9 at 17:00 on the Zoom platform.
In July, the balance of funds on the accounts of local budgets reached UAH 170 billion. Given the problem of finding internal resources for defense and security, these funds could be directed to national needs.
At the event, experts will consider how this resource can be used without harming the interests of communities and local self-government. Speakers will also discuss how budget expenditures should be prioritized during a full-scale war.
In addition, traditionally, we will review the main changes in the country’s economy for July.
