Hacker group KibOrg, allegedly acting in the interests of Ukraine, announced that it had obtained access to the data of all clients of “Alfa Bank” – the largest private bank in Russia. “Vazhnye istorikov” writes about this with reference to a message in the group’s Telegram channel.

Hackers published part of the data they received. These are the surnames, first names and patronymics, phone numbers, as well as information about card and account numbers of almost 44 thousand bank clients. “Important stories” found out by random sampling that these are the data of real people.

The publication’s source in the hacker group said that they are planning to publicly publish the complete customer base of Alfa-Bank. These are 22 million individuals.

The bank has not yet commented on the hacking of its system.

At the end of September, hackers gained access to the databases of the Russian company Syrena-Travel. It contains information about airline passengers and their insurance policies, the data covers the period from 2007 to 2023. It is claimed that some group of Muppets, which is connected with KibOrg, is behind the hack. It has not been established whether this group is connected with any governments or special services.

At the same time, a source in KibOrg told “Important Stories” that the group is considering the possibility of transferring the base to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, selling the data for money, and also transferring the information to investigative journalists.

In August, hackers associated with Ukraine hacked the website of the Moscow City Bureau of Technical Inventory.
