OTP Bank opened a charity Christmas auction to collect funds for prosthetics of heroes

A charity Christmas auction has started in OTP Bank, which will last from December 4 to December 25. All collected funds will be transferred to the Superhumans Center – for prosthetics of defenders who lost limbs in the war and need complex treatment and rehabilitation.
Auction participants are offered exclusive lots: a Christmas lot from the First Lady, a flag of Ukraine autographed by Valery Zaluzhny, boxing gloves signed by Vitaliy Klitschko, Elina Svitolina’s tennis racket, a T-shirt with the signature of billionaire Buffett, a collection of works by Serhiy Zhadan, as well as commemorative coins, stamp sets, unique Christmas decorations – all autographed by celebrities.
All bank clients can take part in the charity auction through the OTP Bank UA application.

“It is through charity that every responsible business today can and should help society. After all, the country, the economy, citizens, and of course, our defenders need support. This is the second large charity auction that OTP Bank is holding to raise funds for prosthetics of heroes,” – said the CEO of OTP Bank Volodymyr the Wise.
“I would like to draw attention to a unique opportunity, a feature that is not available in any bank: the auction is held online in the OTP Bank UA application. I am sincerely grateful to our team of developers who managed and implemented such a seemingly “useless” from the point of view of banking operations, but so relevant for charity, a function that will help each client to both join the auction and simply donate to Superhumans.
An important aesthetic and emotional component – those who make a donation will have a unique author’s “shirt” on their bank card by Christmas. Let’s do a good deed and help our 25 Heroes by December 25!”, – urged Lesya Syrota, director of the retail business sales department of OTP Bank, team leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine project.
She also emphasized that the lots presented at the auction are unique.
“For example, collectible cards – limited collection: “MOST WANTED. Ukrainian edition”, which cannot be found on sale. Or the flag of Ukraine with the emblem of GUR and the signature of Kirill Budanov, or the grandfather with the autograph of the brilliant Ada Rogovtseva – a symbol of Christmas in Ukraine.
But the most important thing is that the collected funds will be directed to real help to our soldiers who need prosthetics. And it is in your power to support Ukrainian heroes,” the project team leader summarized.
Superhumans Center – an ultra-modern center for the rehabilitation of adults and children affected by the war, created on the basis of the Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed Named after Yu.Lypa in April 2023.
Engaged in prosthetics, complex reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support of Ukrainians who suffered injuries due to the war. Every year, the center plans to receive up to 3,000 patients.
