Yevgeny Prigozhin’s son gained control over his father’s two companies

Pavel, the son of the founder of PMC “Wagner”, Yevgeny Prigozhin, received control over two companies that previously belonged to his father, reported the Telegram channel Daily Storm with reference to the SPARK-Interfax database.
We are talking about the companies “Concord Management and Consulting” and “Concord Catering”, which are engaged, in particular, in the supply of food products and have earned billions of rubles on state orders.
The “Fontanka” publication, in turn, notes that Yevgeny Prigozhin’s son officially became a “trustee” according to the official inheritance case, which was opened on September 8, 2023.
- On August 23, the private Embraer plane used by Yevgeny Prigozhin exploded in the air and crashed over the Tver region. According to the official version, the founder of PMC “Wagner” and several of his closest associates died. Prigozhin’s funeral was actually held behind closed doors.
- Two months before that, Prigozhin and his mercenaries attempted an armed rebellion against the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, during which several helicopters and one plane of the Russian army were shot down, which, according to Prigozhin, were trying to bomb the convoy of “Wagnerovs”. The crews of several ships died.
- Russian President Vladimir Putin first accused the PMC of treason, and a criminal case of armed rebellion was initiated against the head of the company. Later, after negotiations with the mediation of Alexander Lukashenko, it was possible to agree on the departure of mercenaries to Belarusian territory. Putin promised in return to end the persecution of the rebels. Even later, commenting on the crash of Prigozhin’s plane, the Russian president hinted that, according to the Investigative Committee, the plane exploded from the inside due to careless handling of ammunition. The official investigation has not yet been completed. Some of Prigozhin’s associates believe that the businessman’s plane was deliberately shot down.
