The Soviet district court of Bryansk sent the deputy director of city gymnasium No. 5, where a shooting occurred earlier this week, under house arrest. On Sunday, “Interfax” reports, in particular, about the measure of suppression for Larisa Katolikova with reference to the press service of the regional court.
Katolikova, whose arrest was announced a day earlier, will be under house arrest until February 7.

It was also reported that the father of the schoolgirl, who staged the shooting, is in a pretrial detention center awaiting a decision on a restraining order. He is accused of committing suicide and negligent storage of weapons.
On December 7, according to the police, a 14-year-old student of the Bryansk gymnasium brought a firearm to class and opened fire on her classmates, after which she committed suicide. As a result, five people were injured, one schoolgirl died. According to law enforcement agencies, the student took the weapon from her father.
Investigators opened a criminal case of negligence against high school officials.
