The Ministry of Justice of Russia once again added the song “Kill the beggars” to the list of extremist materials. punk rock group “Pornofilmy”. Last year, the composition was excluded from this list. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Updates of the List of Terrorists and Extremists”.

The song was again included in the list of extremist materials based on the decision of the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Volgograd and the Volgograd Regional Court, which were adopted in September 2022 and February 2023, respectively.

The first time is the song of the group “Pornofilmy” “Kill the beggars!” was added to the list of extremist materials on November 23, 2021. Then the court considered that the song contains “a negative assessment of a group of people united by origin, residence and social status – poor, needy, poor and poor Russians”. However, already on February 17, 2022, it became known that the Volgograd Regional Court on Thursday overturned the decision of the lower court and sent it to the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Volgograd for a new trial.

In September 2022, the Scientific Research Center of Forensic Expertise and Criminalistics reported that it did not find extremism in the song “Kill Beggars!”. The experts came to the conclusion that although the song contains linguistic appeals to kill the poor, it does not contain signs of incitement to imitate the lyrical hero, on the contrary, it ridicules him.

The song “Kill the beggars!” – a cover of the track “Kill the poor” by the famous American group Dead Kennedys (literally “Kill the poor”). The composition was released in 2016 on the seventh studio album of the “Pornofilmy” group “Russian Dream. Part II”.
