The Office of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region opened a criminal case against the attacker of the resident of Nakhabino during a morning jog. This is reported in the telegram channel of the department.
The assailant is suspected of “committing a crime of an extremist nature”, namely inciting hatred or enmity based on gender, committed publicly and with the use of violence.
Earlier, the Moscow District Prosecutor’s Office reported that a criminal case of hooliganism had been opened against the attacker.
The attack on a resident of Nakhabino took place the day before. During a morning run, a passer-by approached her, grabbed her hands and said, “Why do you look like that?” hit the face When the victim ran away from him, he began to pursue her. A passer-by asked to intercede for the victim. He explained to the attacker that her appearance – short shorts and a sports T-shirt – is related to the fact that she is an athlete. At that, the attacker, perplexed, asked: “Can a girl be a sportswoman?”
The victim’s husband reported that they had filed a complaint with the police and were going to record the beatings.
