A former FSB officer deported from Poland reported his escape

[ad_1]

Emran Navruzbekov, a former employee of the FSB department in Dagestan, deported to Russia from Poland, reported that he managed to escape. Soon after that, he stopped communicating. This is reported by the “Dossier” center.

Navruzbekov, as it is claimed, wrote to the Dossier correspondent on June 18, saying that the day before he was brought to Moscow from Kalingingrad, and that day he was able to go into hiding.

“Help me, I don’t know what to do anymore. I swear, I don’t want to frame anyone, but I have nothing to eat,” Navruzbekov said in a voice message that he sent to Dossier. According to him, he got in touch while being “in a field 70 kilometers from Sheremetyevo.” “Dossier” tried to find out his whereabouts, but he stopped responding to messages, and soon his phone was turned off. The owner of the phone from which he wrote turned out to be a working farm, which is actually located 70 kilometers from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport. Tot wrote “Dossier” that “Emran was taken away” and asked not to write anymore. He did not specify whether it was meant that Navruzbekov was detained again.

Emran Navruzbekov left Russia in 2017 and requested political asylum in Poland. He was refused, appealed against it and in October 2022 again asked for asylum. In an interview with Gulagu.net last winter, Navruzbekov told, in particular, how cases of terrorism and murders of people unrelated to terrorism are fabricated in Dagestan under the guise of terrorists. In an interview with “Kavkaz.Realiyam”, Navruzbekov claimed that in 2017 the authorities wanted to send him to Turkey “to gather information and counter the opposition activists who emigrated there and the wanted natives of Dagestan, Chechnya and other republics”.

On May 17, 2023, Navruzbekov was placed under arrest in Poland due to a possible violation of the rules of conduct in the refugee camp where he lived. He himself claimed that shortly before that he had given Vladimir Osechkin, head of the Gulagu.net human rights project, “500 files of classified information so that he could hand it over to the Hague Tribunal.” Navruzbekov was placed in a center for foreigners in Przemyśl, from where he was taken out on June 6 and deported to Russia, without waiting for his complaint to be considered for the decision on deportation. Representatives of the Polish authorities said that his information and stories about himself did not correspond to reality. At the same time, Navruzbekov’s wife and their two children received asylum in Poland.

Emran Navruzbekov was handed over to Russian law enforcement agencies at a border crossing in the Kaliningrad region. The court in Kaliningrad arrested him for 10 days, accusing him of using obscene language on the border. Half an hour before his supposed release, according to Navruzbekov, five employees of the law enforcement agencies came to him in the temporary detention center in Kaliningrad, who took him away to take him to Moscow, and then, apparently, to Dagestan. After arriving in Sheremetyevo, as he told Dossier, Navruzbekov managed to escape using a taxi.
