The Second Western District Military Court sentenced former military school cadet Vladyslav Boyarshinov to 12 years in a strict regime colony, he was found guilty of treason in the form of espionage. TASS writes about it.
According to the indictment, Boyarshinov, while studying at the command school, collected data that could allegedly be used to undermine the security of Russia. The case was considered in private. Boyarshinov admitted his guilt.
The TASS source reported that Boyarshinov was expelled from the school after the case was initiated. It is not specified where exactly he studied. According to “Ostrozhno, Novosti”, the namesake of the convict studied at the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School, as a cadet he participated in the Victory Parade on Red Square and the “Army International Games” in Belarus.
