In the Magadan region, a 75-year-old pensioner was detained on charges of justifying terrorism in connection with the comment about the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

According to the police, a resident of the village of Ola published a message justifying the terrorist attack in “Crocus City Hall” in a thematic group in the messenger. The suspect was detained by the FSB officers with the support of the SOBR.

The detainee was released on a bond not to leave and to behave properly. He admitted his guilt, said that he had “done something stupid”. He faces up to seven years in prison.
