A soldier returning from Ukraine killed his wife in front of his children

In the city of Zavolzhye, Nizhny Novgorod Region, a combatant who returned from Ukraine killed his wife in front of his own minor children, several local publications report.

According to mass media, 44-year-old Alexander Mamaev, who served as deputy platoon commander, arrived from Ukraine a week ago and decided to celebrate his return with his family. After drinking alcohol, the soldier thought that his wife was trying to get hold of his money. As a result, Mamaev stabbed his wife, she died from blood loss.

According to the Telegram channel “ChTD”, relatives of the married couple refused to take their children – 6 and 7 year old boys. Most likely, they will be sent to an orphanage.

Thus, in the Kirov region, a former prisoner who fought as part of PMC “Wagner”, previously convicted of murder, killed an 85-year-old pensioner, and in Karelia the mobilized man who returned from the war killed his wife. According to official data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the number of crimes involving the use of weapons and ammunition increased by almost 30% per hour. Belgorod and Kursk regions bordering Ukraine became the leaders in this indicator.
