Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced on Tuesday afternoon that the air defense forces repulsed a drone attack in the Odintsovsky District of the Moscow Region.

As Sobyanin wrote in the Telegram channel, according to preliminary data, the place where the debris fell was destroyed and there were no victims. He did not say where exactly the debris fell.

Earlier it was reported that the Moscow airports of Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky introduced restrictions on the reception and dispatch of aircraft. In Domodedovo it was reported that 6 planes went to reserve airfields. Vnukovo Airport received planes, but did not send them. It was also reported that the so-called “Carpet” plan was introduced at the Kaluga airport.

In the morning, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that several drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, and later it became known about the destruction of a drone over the Kaluga region.

Drone attacks in the direction of Moscow have occurred repeatedly in recent months, however, as a rule, at night.

The Russian authorities and the military state that these are attacks from the territory of Ukraine. Officially, Kyiv does not comment on this.
