Accordbank fully returned the refinancing of the National Bank. The head of the bank’s board, Aleksey Rudnev, told about this in an interview with FinClub.

“Accordbank has ensured full repayment of refinancing loans and does not plan to use them in the future. The bank made the last payment on March 24,” Rudnev said.
As of January 1, 2023, Accordbank had obligations to the National Bank of UAH 990 million, as of March 1, it reduced them to UAH 714 million. The bank reports that after March 24, they have no obligations to refinance the NBU.
In 2023, according to Rudnev, Accordbank will concentrate, among other things, on maintaining super-liquidity, “inherent in the bank historically.”
New investments in OVHZ are not planned. “By the autumn of this year, we do not plan to increase the volume of OVHZ in the portfolio. Further, everything will depend on interest rates on the market and the situation in the country as a whole,” said the banker.
