Adam Kadyrov appeared on the website in the list of “honorary citizens of Donetsk”

A photograph of the 16-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov, who beat Nikita Zhuravel, accused of burning the Koran, in a pre-trial detention center, and who subsequently received awards and honorary titles in several regions of Russia, appeared on the website of the Russian administration of occupied Donetsk in the section “Honorary Citizens of Donetsk”.

“Adam Ramzanovich Kadyrov is the head of the security department of the head of the Chechen Republic, the Hero of the Chechen Republic,” says the caption under the photo. A number of Telegram channels, in particular Mash and Baza, also allegedly published a screenshot of the order of the head of the Russian administration of Donetsk awarding the son of Ramzan Kadyrov the title of honorary citizen of the city. According to the document, the title was awarded “for an active civic position, a significant personal contribution to the development of cultural relations between the cities of Donetsk and Grozny, raising the image of the city of Donetsk on the scale of the Russian Federation.” What exactly is Adam Kadyrov’s contribution to the development of cultural relations and “image enhancement” is not specified.

After these publications, in the Telegram channel of the Russian head of the Donetsk administration, Alexei Kulemzyn, there was an entry about the “hacking” of the administration’s website. “At the moment, specialists are making every effort to eliminate information attacks of the Ukrainian Central Intelligence Agency,” Kulemzyn writes. At the same time, he does not directly refute the report that Adam Kadyrov was awarded the title of honorary citizen.

The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on reports of the alleged hacking of the administration’s website. At the same time, the publication “Ukrainskaya Pravda” reported on Wednesday that Ukrainian hackers, with the help of the Security Service of Ukraine, hacked the website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Russian Federation and allegedly downloaded more than 100 terabytes of data. “Hackers gained access to a large number of documents: statistics on the conduct of military operations (the so-called “SVO”), personal data of servicemen, materials of reports to the President of the Russian Federation, certificates on the amount of prosthetics,” the publication writes. The Russian Ministry has not yet commented on the message.

Today it became known that Adam Kadyrov became the “curator” of the recently created battalion in Chechnya named after Sheikh Mansur, and he was also awarded the star of this battalion. It is not known what exactly he will be doing in the unit that is part of the structure of the Ministry of Defense.

Kadyrov Jr. “has the necessary abilities and skills” to supervise the battalion, the Chairman of the Chechen Parliament Magomed Daudov wrote in his Telegram channel. State Duma deputy from Chechnya Adam Delymkhanov called this appointment “a legitimate result of significant merits in defending religious values.”

The battalion named after Sheikh Mansur is headed by Ruslan Geremeev, whom Boris Nemtsov’s relatives and their lawyers suspect of involvement in the politician’s murder.
