Available roaming
The joint declaration of mobile operators of Ukraine and the EU was extended for another six months with the possibility of further extension.
The document is a continuation of the agreements reached as part of the preliminary joint statement signed in April 2022.
The preliminary agreement allowed Ukrainian operators to offer their subscribers affordable roaming services in 25 EU member states, and will also cover non-EU countries.
In the period from July to December 2022, the number of active roaming users among Ukrainians in Europe ranged from 3.9 million to 4.4 million subscribers per month.
During this period, the consumption of voice traffic in international roaming increased from 17 min. up to 52 minutes on average per subscriber per month.

Data consumption traffic in international roaming increased from 474 MB to 3.6 GB on average per subscriber per month.
“Such dynamics indicate an increase in the availability of such services for Ukrainian consumers,” NKEK believes.
The benefits of affordable roaming also extend to Ukrainians traveling to the EU for short-term purposes.
Let’s remind
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance wrote that in March of this year, Ukrainian operators agreed to launch national roaming.
