Agricultural giants are in danger: Hungary maintains a ban on Ukrainian grain

The Hungarian state may continue its ban on the import of Ukrainian grain. The condition set by Hungary has already been published, Vechernye Vesty reports with reference to Reuters.

The ban on the import of grain of Ukrainian production is being prepared for extension, starting from June 30, 2023.

“On Saturday, Poland and Hungary announced a ban on the import of grain and other Ukrainian food products. This was done to protect the agricultural sector itself. After receiving a warning from the executive authorities of the European Union,” the press service reported.

The ban affected not only grain production of the Ukrainian state, but also other food products. This is an argument for the continuation of grain production within the countries that imposed the ban.

It will be recalled that earlier the European Union imposed a ban on the import of Russian coal.
