Alexei Moskalyov was placed in the SHIZO for the fifth time in the colony

Alexei Moskalyov, who is serving a term on the charge of “discrediting the army” in a colony in the Tula region, was placed in a penal isolation ward (SHIZO) for the fifth time. According to lawyer Vladimir Bilyenko, the reason for the fine was that Moskalyov leaned on his arm while sitting at the table in the cell. The administration of the colony interpreted this as a request to “arrange a sleeping place at the table.”

Moskalyov will spend 14 days in SHIZO. This is already the fifth such penalty since his placement in the colony. Previously, Moskalyov was sent to the SHIZO because, according to the administration, he did not get up immediately after getting up; for not keeping his hands behind his back when leaving the cell, and for misrepresenting himself to a colony employee. He does not remember the reason for the fourth fine.

• Alexey Moskalyov was sentenced in March. This was preceded by the persecution of the Moskalyov family after the daughter of Alexei Masha drew an anti-war picture at school in the spring of 2022.
• Law enforcement agencies also found Moskalev’s posts on social networks in which he condemned Russian aggression in Ukraine.
• The court found Moskalev guilty under the article of “repeated discrediting of the army” and sentenced him to two years in prison. Masha, whom Moskalyov raised alone, was first sent to an orphanage, and then given to her mother, who had not lived with her family for many years and was not involved in raising the girl.
