Ambassadors of wine taste: the Paris premiere of Villa UA

VILLA UA demonstrated its resilience and potential during the unique event “Vignoble et Vin en Résistance”, which took place in Paris thanks to the joint efforts of the Embassy of Ukraine in France, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the corporation “Ukrvinprom”, and the partnership with Nazovni.

The pages of the history of the Ukrainian wine industry were properly opened during “Vine & Wine in Resistance”: the participants of the event had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with video materials that illustrated the life of our winemakers during difficult times and the process of restoration of Ukrainian wine farms.

This event was more than just a presentation of wines. It was a trip to the past that presented France with the best samples of Ukrainian wine.

At the event, all participants for the first time had the opportunity to evaluate wines of famous Ukrainian brands, including Villa UA wines, which were selected by the tasting commission as “Ambassador wines 2023” and presented at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The presentation at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Paris was an important step for the Ukrainian wine industry. She helped to open the world to the diversity of Ukrainian wine taste and to impress guests with its authenticity.

This event was attended not only by journalists and representatives of well-known gastronomic publications, but also by diplomats, restaurateurs, specialists of the International Organization of Grapes and Wine (OIV).

Mr. Jean Lanotte (Jean Lanot), the newly appointed Advisor of France on agricultural issues in Ukraine, appreciated the excellent samples of Villa UA dry wine – Chardonnay Sauvignon.

During the presentation, it was emphasized that this event is only the beginning, the next step is cooperation between the Ukrainian wine industry and the world. Goal: popularization of Ukrainian wines and promotion of their export.

Taste can be louder than words, and Villa UA wines are a living example that reflects the courage and strong will of our winemakers. Ukrainian wine, no matter what, increases its fame and enriches taste impressions. Villa UA has overcome all challenges and is ready to present the world with even more taste discoveries.

Thanks to the efforts of many people, it is possible to export and present to the world the wine production under the name “Villa UA”.
