Another concert of Lolita Milyavskaya was canceled in Novosibirsk

In Novosibirsk, the concert of singer Lolita Milyavskaya, scheduled for March 31 at the House of Scientists of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Akademgorodok, was canceled. The concert will not take place, it is reported on the official website of the House of Scientists. The reasons for the cancellation are not reported.

This is already the third performance of the artist, the cancellation of which became known in the last week. In December, the singer took part in the so-called naked party in the Moscow club “Mutabor”. The party attracted the attention of the authorities, including President Vladimir Putin. Many of its participants began to have problems – their concerts were canceled, their performances were cut from TV broadcasts, some were brought to administrative responsibility.

Lolita planned to hold two concerts in Novosibirsk in the spring as part of a tour dedicated to her 60th birthday. Last week it became known about the cancellation of one of them – the Lolita concert scheduled for April 2 disappeared from the posters of the local House of Culture of Railway Workers. They also canceled the concert in Omsk, about the plans of which a certain Council of Atamans of the Cossack people complained.

As “Meduza” notes, earlier Lolita reported that the organizers had canceled “a huge number” of her concerts. Now, as the nearest concert on her website, the concert on February 15 in Ramensk near Moscow is indicated.

Not a “foreign agent”, but the concert is excellent

The day before, it became known about the cancellation of Krystyna Orbakaite’s concert in Ulan-Ude. The press service of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Buryatia reported on the cancellation. The department noted that Orbakaite is not recognized as a “foreign agent” and her activities in Russia are “not prohibited.” “But considering the opinion of the citizens and public organizations of Buryatia, the artist’s concert will not take place in the Physical Culture and Sports Complex,” the officials decided. Earlier, the Buryat “Boevoi Bratstva” — a pro-Russian public organization — was outraged by the fact that Orbakaite allegedly has US citizenship (according to RIA Novosti, Orbakaite’s family lives in the US, and she has dual citizenship).

“People who live in the USA and go to Russia only to earn, have not decided on their position regarding the SVO [специальной военной операции, то есть войны в Украине]should not continue to give concerts and receive public approval,” said the appeal of “Boevoi Braststva”. Orbakaite’s cancellation of the concert was also supported by the public chamber of Buryatia. The singer did not comment on the cancellation of the concert in Ulan-Ude on social networks and on the official website.
