ARMA handed over seized assets worth 7 billion to management

The National Agency for the Detection, Investigation and Management of Corruption Assets (ARMA) handed over seized assets with a total value of more than 7 billion UAH to the management of private and state-owned companies. This was reported by the press service of the National Agency.

At the beginning of the year, this figure was UAH 4.8 billion. Thus, for the first quarter of 2023, assets worth almost UAH 2.5 billion were transferred to the managers.

In particular, ARMA concluded contracts for the management of the company’s assets in the field of oil and natural gas production (OOO “Service Oil”), as well as the assets of the producer of household chemicals (PJSC “Vinnitsabythym”).

In addition, the National Agency keeps the value of seized funds in the amount of about UAH 3 billion. Of them, more than 1.2 billion were invested in military bonds, about 1.7 billion were placed in a deposit portfolio in a state bank.

Consequently, the total value of seized assets, the preservation of which is ensured by ARMA, today amounts to UAH 10 billion.

At the same time, ARMA continues to search for managers for seized assets, in particular, since the beginning of 2023, more than 150 tenders for business representatives have been announced.
