Artist and civil activist Katryn Nenasheva was left for 48 hours at the police station in Priozersk, Leningrad region. They changed the administrative article on disobeying a police officer. This is reported by “OVD-Info”.
Nenasheva was detained by the police in Priozersk on the evening of May 8. The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs approached her when she was having dinner in a cafe with a friend. The pretext for the detention was “orientation”. After that, Nenasheva was put in a police car and taken to the department.
- This is not the first detention of Katryn Nenasheva. She has attracted the attention of the police several times with her civic activity in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Nenasheva deals with the problems of women’s rights, domestic violence, suicides and drug addiction in the teenage environment, stigmatization of people with psychiatric diagnoses, and other acute social topics.
