Due to enemy shelling, there is a power outage in the front-line areas of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kherson regions and the border regions of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
This was reported by the press service Ukrenergo.
As in the previous week, there is no capacity deficit in the power system and currently it is not forecast. All types of power plants operate in the power system, and electricity imports continue to decrease due to the stabilization of the country’s electricity supply.
At the same time, due to damage to the networks of distribution system operators caused by enemy shelling, there is a blackout in the front-line areas of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kherson regions and the border regions of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
There is no heat supply in Kherson as a result of shelling and an accident at the CHP plant. Where the security situation allows, repair work is carried out.
Consumption limits were not brought to the oblasts due to the lack of capacity in the power system. Outages are possible in the event of a change in the situation in the power system and a sharp increase in consumption.
At the same time, there are still network restrictions in Odesa caused by significant damage to the energy infrastructure. Hourly shutdown schedules are used to avoid overloading the equipment that remains in operation.
