On the night of January 30, the Russian Federation carried out a mass attack with kamikaze drones, as a result of which the equipment at one of the Ukrenergo substations in the central region was damaged.

About this informs press service of NEC “Ukrenergo”.

It is noted that the recovery of industrial consumers under reserve schemes is currently underway. Emergency recovery work began immediately after the alarm was sounded.

Damaged equipment is planned to be replaced as soon as possible with new ones from the emergency stock created by the company.

In the Ministry of Energy reportedthat due to damage to the substation, the local enterprise was cut off (the technological process was violated).

Also, as a result of the shelling, networks were damaged in Semenivska hromada in Chernihiv region, more than 800 consumers in six settlements remained without voltage.

As a result of hostilities in the town of Kostiantynivka, the equipment of the distribution system operator was cut off, the substation and household consumers were disconnected.

In general, the occurrence of a deficit in the energy system is not predicted. The electricity produced by power plants of all types is enough to ensure the energy supply of all legal and household consumers.

In addition, it is planned to start operation after the repair of unit 1 at the TPP.

Ukrenergo adds that electricity is imported from Slovakia, Romania and Moldova in the morning and evening hours. The total volume is 4,743 MWh, with maximum capacity in individual hours up to 830 MW. On the other hand, there are no exports today.

We will remind:

Before reportedwhat one building of the thermal power plant was taken out for emergency repairs. Three units and one body of heat generation are kept in reserve in case of need.
