Avito recruits contract workers for the war under the guise of “security guards”

The “Verstka” publication found out that on the website of the “Avito” service, there were advertisements with job offers for security guards, in which they are actually recruiting for military service under a contract.

In the job description, a Moscow employer under the name “Voenkom” offers shift work as a security guard under a contract of 6 months and a salary of up to 195 thousand months.

The advertisement also states that 390,000 rubles will be paid at once upon conclusion of the contract, and employees will be offered a “combat veteran’s certificate.”

The correspondent of “Vorstka” was confirmed by the phone indicated in the advertisement that they are looking for those who are ready to sign a contract for completed military service in the zone of “special military operation” (that’s how the Russian authorities call the war in Ukraine). The employer could not explain why the “security guard” vacancy was specified.

Similar ads for the recruitment of “security guards” with salaries ranging from 210 to 340 thousand rubles are posted on the “Avito” website by employers from other cities in Russia – from Nizhny Novgorod to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the publication notes.

“Trebuyutsya real patriots who are ready to stand up for the protection of our family. The best uniform is at our expense. You will go through a training camp, which will be provided by our instructors with combat experience,” says the job description from the employer under the name “Contract Service”. Judging by the history of the profile, he previously employed builders in the territories of Ukraine occupied by the Russian army.

In the summer, the publication wrote about unemployed residents of Tatarstan who were offered to sign a contract and go to war in Ukraine. They are promised a salary of about 300 thousand rubles per month.
