As part of the campaign before the 2024 presidential elections, the Kremlin will hold an all-Russian contest “This is our family.” Among the participants, they promise to raffle off 30 housing certificates worth five million rubles, 300 trips around Russia and other prizes. According to the interlocutors of the publication, the competition should “create a positive background for the campaign in difficult times.” “Meduza” writes that sources associate the rise in prices, connected with sanctions and the rising exchange rate, with difficult times.

Formally, the contest is in no way connected with the elections, but its main stages will coincide with the presidential campaign of Vladimir Putin, which, according to sources, should turn into a “series of holidays.”

The federal mass media is responsible for reporting on the competition. “It will be a ‘Field of Miracles’ in the good sense of the word,” said the interlocutor of “Meduza”.

Regional administrations and mass media have not yet been allowed to cover the competition, the publication notes.

The organizing committee of the contest is headed by deputy head of the presidential administration Serhiy Kyryenko. The supervisory board of the event includes pop artists Dmitry Malikov and Sergey Zhukov, saxophonist Igor Butman, general director of the Black Star Inc. label.
