Where will the funds go?
It is noted that half of the sum will be used for the supply of military goods, such as armored vehicles, weapons and ammunition.
The second half will be directed to humanitarian support, the upcoming reconstruction of Ukraine and the strengthening of Belgium’s diplomatic presence in Ukraine.

“Ministry of Finance” wrote that Belgium has frozen Russian assets worth 180 billion euros and plans to direct the interest received from them to the restoration of Ukraine.
Earlier, the government of Belgium reported that the country received an additional 625 million euros in 2022 as a result of taxation of income from the frozen assets of the Russian Federation for 250 billion euros.
