It is noted that in the period up to 2027 inclusive, 69 million jobs will be created, but 83 million people will lose their jobs.
First of all, layoffs will affect cashiers, including ticket and bank employees, as well as postal and accounting workers, secretaries and other clerks. In addition, legislators and officials are included in the top 10 professions, the number of whose representatives will decrease.
Meanwhile, the demand for specialists in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning, sustainable development, business analytics and information security will grow the fastest.

Geopolitical and economic factors influence the labor market, the report says. The personnel deficit is observed mainly in countries with a high level of per capita income, while in countries with low and low incomes, the level of unemployment exceeds the evidentiary indicators.
In addition, the usual state of affairs in the labor market in the coming decades will disrupt the transition to a “green” economy, but at the same time it will create significant opportunities for employees.
The WEF report is based on the results of a survey of representatives of 803 companies from 27 industry clusters and 45 world economies. The total staff of these enterprises is more than 11.3 million people.
