Discussion “Recovery Challenges”

Discussion “Recovery Challenges”

[ad_1]

The official post-war recovery plan for Ukraine is based on the assumption that Ukraine will be able to receive hundreds of billions of dollars of confiscated Russian assets, will be able to receive them unconditionally, and this money will go directly to the Ukrainian budget.

This plan is a desirable vision of the future, however, it may turn out to be far from the actual development of events. What do Western officials say about post-war recovery? How can the situation with reconstruction financing develop? What recovery challenges do you need to prepare for?

We will talk about these and other issues with the participants of the discussion on May 11 at 4:00 p.m

Speakers:

  • Valery Pekar, entrepreneur, teacher at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School
  • Hanna Hopko, head of the board of the NGO Network of National Interests “ANTS”

Moderator: Dmytro Boyarchuk, executive director of CASE Ukraine

Broadcasting:

Organizer of the discussion: CASE Ukraine Center for Socio-Economic Research. With support and information partnership with a leading online business publication “Economic Truth”.

This event is presented by CASE Ukraine within the framework of the “Get Involved” Community Action Promotion Program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Pact in Ukraine.
