Dmitry Svirgunov, the founder of the Stream Soda group, fell under the ice on the Volga. The emergency services of the Yaroslavl region informed RIA Novosti that the musician had died.

The incident occurred on the night of March 20 in the village of Dyevo-Horodishche, Nekrasovsky District, Yaroslavl Region. According to 71.ru, five people fell under the ice. One of the victims, Valery Derman, was saved, 27-year-old Aristarkh Ukhtomsky died in an ambulance. 25-year-old Roman Svirgunov and 28-year-old Georgy Kiselev are listed as missing.

The Cream Soda group’s public confirmed the information about the incident.

The administration of the Nekrasovsky district reported that the company went for a walk in the village of Chentsy, located on the other side of the Volga. “Tonight, a company of 10 people – guests of the area – were resting in the village of Dyevo-Horodishche. At some point, they decided to go down to the village of Chentsy on the ice of the Volga, and on the way back, a tragedy occurred: they almost did not survive, and five of the company ended up in the water “The current is very fast now – three were dragged under the ice, two more managed to get out. However, one of the rescued died on the way to the hospital,” the administration said.

The prosecutor’s office and the SRC began investigations into the incident.
