PrivatBank will carry out planned routine works of the processing center to increase the capacity and security of processing increasingly large volumes of transactions with payment cards.

This was reported by the press service of the state bank.

It is noted that on April 6 card operations will be on pause from midnight to 7 am.

“During the work period on April 6 from 00:05 to 07:05 in the morning, the bank will temporarily suspend card transactions. A similar “time-out” will continue in the operation of ATMs, self-service terminals and POS terminals of the bank.

We usually do routine work at night, when most customers are not conducting operations. If you plan to pay by card during the work period, we advise you to do so in advance or postpone it for a few hours,” the bank added.

The processing center of PrivatBank processes an average of 1.7 million to 3 million card transactions every hour, the financial institution noted.
