Exchange of lamps from Ukrposhta became available for educational and medical institutions

From June 9, the program of exchanging incandescent lamps for LED lamps will be extended to educational and medical institutions.

The first phase of the second wave of the exchange of incandescent lamps for legal entities starts today.
As part of the government program, not only individuals can exchange old lamps for LED ones, but also kindergartens, schools, vocational schools, universities, sports and music schools, driving schools and any other educational institutions. And also all polyclinics and hospitals, dental clinics, laboratories and other medical institutions.
Such institutions have the right to exchange:
- 3 lamps per 10 square meters. m. in classrooms, teacher’s rooms, wards, treatment rooms;
- 2 lamps per 10 square meters. m. for public places.
To exchange, it is necessary to send a request for the need to receive LED lamps through the Diya portal and perform the following steps:
- log in to the portal using the KEP of a legal entity;
- check information about the enterprise;
- go to the section – “Services” and select “Exchange of light bulbs” and start filling out the request as needed;
- specify the area in the calculator to see the limit and select the number and types of lamps within the limit;
- put a mark on the agreement to hand over the same number of incandescent lamps;
- indicate the location of the organization;
- check and confirm the data related to the generated request;
- to sign a request for a legal entity’s KEP.
After submitting the application, representatives of Ukrposhta will contact the specified phone number within a week and provide further instructions for obtaining energy-saving lamps.
Recipients of new lamps will be required to hand over the appropriate number of incandescent lamps to local self-government bodies for further disposal.
