Exchange rate on April 19: the hryvnia weakened on the “black market”

On Wednesday, April 19, the hryvnia weakened on the “black market” against the dollar and the euro, but the exchange rate in bank cash registers is almost unchanged.
This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.
At 09:40, the dollar exchange rate on the “black market” was UAH 37.73 – 37.94, and on Tuesday, April 18, the exchange rate fluctuated between UAH 37.63 – 37.79. The hryvnia weakened again after stabilizing at the beginning of the week.
Similar dynamics in the “black” exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro. At the same time, it was UAH 41.18 – 41.48 against the rate of UAH 41.05 – 41.31 per euro on Monday.
The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:
- US dollar – UAH 37.5 – 38.0 (rate on April 18 – UAH 37.5 – 38.0);
- Euro – 40.8 – 41.5 UAH (rate on April 18 – 40.75 – 41.5 UAH).
In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:
- Privatbank – UAH 37.35 – UAH 37.85;
- Oschadbank – UAH 37.6 – UAH 38.5;
- Ukreximbank – UAH 37.65 – 38.25;
- Raiffeisen – UAH 37.4 – 38.0.
As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
