Exchange rates for April 14: the cash hryvnia continues to weaken rapidly against the euro

On Friday, April 14, the weakening of the cash hryvnia continued: if against the dollar the exchange rate increased insignificantly, then against the euro – by 20-30 kopecks for the second day in a row.
This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.
At 12:30, the dollar exchange rate on the “black market” was 37.70 – 37.82 UAH, and on Thursday, April 13, the exchange rate fluctuated between 37.66 – 37.80 UAH. The hryvnia has been weakening since the beginning of the week after significantly strengthening last week.
As for the “black” exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro, it weakened again at a faster rate. At the same time, the exchange rate was UAH 41.30 – 41.51, although the day before it was UAH 41.00 – 41.31. For comparison, at the beginning of the week, the exchange rate fluctuated at the level of 40.6 – 40.8 hryvnias per euro.
The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:
- US dollar – UAH 37.4 – UAH 37.95 (rate on April 13 – UAH 37.425 – UAH 37.85);
- Euro – 40.75 – 41.5 UAH (rate on April 13 – 40.55 – 41.2 UAH).
In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:
- Privatbank – UAH 37.2 – 37.7;
- Oschadbank – UAH 37.45 – UAH 38.4;
- Ukreximbank – UAH 37.55 – 38.15;
- Raiffeisen – 37.5 – 38.4 hryvnias.
As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
