Exchange rates on April 12: the euro is getting more expensive

On Wednesday, April 12, the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro weakened significantly, while only the selling rate against the dollar decreased.
This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.
At 10:30, the dollar exchange rate on the “black market” was UAH 37.56 – 37.68, and on Tuesday, April 11, the exchange rate fluctuated between UAH 37.53 – 37.87. The exchange rate spread has increased significantly, so it has become more appropriate to buy currency.
As for the “black” exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro, it also weakened. At the same time, the rate was UAH 40.78 – 40.91, and the day before, the rate fluctuated at the level of UAH 40.64 – 40.83.
The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:
- US dollar – UAH 37.3 – UAH 37.8 (rate on April 11 – UAH 37.2 – UAH 37.875);
- Euro – 40.5 – 41.1 UAH (rate on April 11 – 40.4 – 41.0 UAH).
In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:
- Privatbank – UAH 37.05 – 37.55;
- Oschadbank – UAH 37.3 – UAH 38.25;
- Ukreximbank – UAH 37.45 – 38.05;
- Raiffeisen – 37.4 – 38.4 UAH.
As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44
