Exchange rates on April 20: the cash hryvnia continues to weaken rapidly

On Thursday, April 20, the cash hryvnia continued to weaken significantly after stabilization at the beginning of the week, both the dollar and the euro became more expensive.

This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.

At 11:10, the dollar exchange rate on the “black market” was UAH 37.87 – 38.08, and on Wednesday, April 19, the exchange rate fluctuated between UAH 37.73 – 37.94.

The hryvnia also weakened against the “black” exchange rate against the euro. At the same time, it was UAH 41.39 – 41.64 against the rate of UAH 41.18 – 41.48 per euro on Wednesday.

The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:

  • US dollar – 37.6 – 38.1 UAH (rate on April 19 – 37.5 – 38.0 UAH);
  • Euro – 40.9 – 41.6 UAH (rate on April 19 – 40.8 – 41.5 UAH).

In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:

  • Privatbank – UAH 37.45 – UAH 37.95;
  • Oschadbank – UAH 37.6 – UAH 38.5;
  • Ukreximbank – UAH 37.7 – 38.3;
  • Raiffeisen – UAH 37.4 – 38.0.

As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
