Exchange rates on April 26: the hryvnia strengthened significantly in banks and on the “black” market

On Wednesday, April 26, the hryvnia showed growth against the cash dollar and euro both in bank cash registers and on the black market.
This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.
At 10:40, the dollar rate on the “black market” was UAH 37.60 – 37.74 after several days of weakening – on Tuesday, April 25, the rate fluctuated between UAH 37.80 – 37.96.
The hryvnia also strengthened against the “black” exchange rate of the euro. At the same time, the rate was UAH 41.14 – 41.47 against the rate of UAH 41.33 – 41.67 per euro on Tuesday.
The average exchange rates in bank cash registers, as well as in the “black” market, strengthened and were as follows:
- US dollar – 37.5 – 38.025 UAH (exchange rate on April 25 – 37.7 – 38.2 UAH);
- Euro – 41.0 – 41.75 UAH (rate on April 25 – 41.2 – 41.9 UAH).
In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:
- Privatbank – UAH 37.25 – UAH 37.75;
- Oschadbank – UAH 37.4 – UAH 38.65;
- Ukreximbank – UAH 37.55 – 38.05;
- Raiffeisen – 37.1 – 37.8 UAH.
As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
