Exchange rates on April 5: the hryvnia strengthened against the dollar, but weakened against the euro

On April 5, the National Bank strengthened the hryvnia against the US dollar, but weakened against the euro.

This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.

Official dollar rate installed on the level 39.0201 hryvnia, euro – 42.3485 hryvnia the day before the dollar – 39.1953 hryvnias, euro – 42.2643 hryvnias).

At 09:45, the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia on the “black market” was 38.77 – 39.36 hryvnias against quotes of 38.36 – 39.26 hryvnias the day before.

At the same time, the “black” rate of the euro was UAH 42.69-42.92 against the rate of UAH 42.69-42.94 per euro the day before.

The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:

  • US dollar – 38.9 – 39.4 UAH (rate on April 4 – 39.1 – 39.5 UAH);
  • Euro – 42.3 – 42.95 UAH (rate on April 4 – 42.25 – 42.95 UAH).

According to banks, the dollar cash rates are as follows:

  • Privatbank – UAH 38.8 – 39.4;
  • Oschadbank – UAH 39.0 – UAH 39.5;
  • Ukreximbank – 38.85 – 39.45 UAH.

As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in Privatbank banks is UAH 39.37 per dollar, monobank – UAH 39.36.
