Exchange rates on February 1: the hryvnia weakened on the “black” market

On Wednesday, February 1, the cash hryvnia weakened against the dollar and the euro on the “black market”, on the other hand, the exchange rate at bank counters was stable.
This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.
At 12:30, the dollar exchange rate on the “black market” was UAH 40.31 – 40.39, and on Tuesday, January 31, it fluctuated at the level of UAH 40.22 – 40.37.
Regarding the “black” exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro, at the same time the exchange rate was UAH 43.42 – 43.62. For comparison, on Tuesday the exchange rate fluctuated at the level of UAH 43.35 – 43.59.
The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:
- US dollar – UAH 40.0 – 40.5 (exchange rate on January 31 – UAH 40.05 – 40.5);
- Euro – 43.0 – 43.7 UAH (exchange rate on January 31 – 43.0 – 43.7 UAH).
In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:
- Privatbank – UAH 39.7 – 40.2;
- Savings Bank – UAH 40.1 – 40.85;
- Ukreximbank – UAH 40.15 – 40.65;
- Raiffeisen – UAH 39.9 – 40.5.
As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
